Study Hall

Who

All students and faculty in the SUPER program as well as special guests. Students are expected to attend each study hall. However, we know that students may travel during the weekend, etc. You may miss up to 3 study halls per year. If you must miss more than this due to sports, etc., you must talk to Prof. Sojka. If you miss more than this unexcused, you may jeopardize your position in the SUPER program. Faculty will rotate through study hall with one faculty member available per week. We will also have special guests throughout the semester and a tutor available in the Ethyl Center.

What

This is really an enhanced study hall. We will have speakers, guests, and timely information for the first 10-15 minutes of many of our study halls to help with classroom and overall college success. In addition, you will have faculty and tutors available each study hall. Finally, we will provide snacks for many of the study halls.

When

Study hall will meet every Sunday evening from 8-9:30 p.m. We will not meet the weekend of Fall Break, Thanksgiving Break or Spring Break. The study hall will begin after the first week of classes.

Where

Study hall will meet in Martin 323. You will also have access to the computers in Martin 320 and the tutors and resources in the Ethyl Center.
