Randolph College is launching its very own Give Day later this month, with the goal of raising $100,000 for the Annual Fund.
“We are deeply grateful for the yearly generosity of our donors and for the life-changing support they provide for our Randolph campus community,” said Tamara Jamerson, director of the Annual Fund. “This year we decided to have our own unique day of giving for Randolph College to celebrate all of our wonderful supporters who ensure the College’s continued success with their many gifts of time, talent, and treasure.”
The Annual Fund provides vital, unrestricted support for the student experience at Randolph.
Several matches will be in effect for donors, including a dollar-for-dollar match, up to $25,000, for all donors, provided by a group of alumnae—Carol Haley ’70, Betty Lou Newcomb ’59, Becky Habel ’73, and Johanne Pryor ’61.
Betsy Crighton ’67 and an anonymous alumna from the Class of 1957 are also giving $100 per donor, up to 250 donors, for Reunion 2022 classes ending in a 2 or 7.
In the days leading up to Give Day, signage will be set up around campus, acknowledging different areas provided by donor support.
The R-MWC Alumnae & Randolph College Alumni Facebook page will also be livestreaming on-campus events on Oct. 27.
GiveFest, for the campus community, will include lawn games and a special lunch menu. The Annual Fund team is also partnering with the Office of Diversity, Identity, Culture & Inclusion on its weekly Wind-Up Wednesday event that evening, which will feature performances by Songshine and Voices.alumnae giving, alumni giving, annual fund, give day, giveroll, giving
