Centre Internationale d’Etudes Françaises

The Centre Internationale d’Etudes Françaises (C.I.D.E.F.) is a higher education institution specializing in teaching French as a foreign language to adults. The center is one of several institutes that make up the Université Catholique de l’Ouest, which is one of the five best private universities in France.

Located in Angers, France, 1.5 hours by train from Paris and Charles de Gaulle airport, C.I.D.E.F.’s small city campus is surrounded by a park and is only a 10-minute walk from the train station located in the city center. Each year, the center welcomes nearly 400 students from over 30 countries.

Requirements

  • Attend for a semester or a year.
  • All instruction is conducted in French; students must have taken and passed FREN 202.
  • Participants must be in good academic and social standing at Randolph.
  • Students pay Randolph College tuition plus room and are responsible for their own board costs in France.
  • Federal financial aid processed by Randolph College.
