Karin Warren, Randolph’s Herzog Family Chair of Environmental Studies & Science, presented two posters on recent research at the annual meeting of the American Geophysical Union.
She and Laura Henry-Stone presented “Climate-resilient Urban Forest Gardens to Address Climate Vulnerability, Food Insecurity, and Inequitable Heat Risks in Lynchburg, VA.”

She also presented “Virginia Heat Watch: Collaboration to Assess Climate Vulnerability at Multiple Scales for 10 Virginia Communities” along with collaborators Todd Lookingbill, J. Christopher Haley, Elizabeth Malcolm, Lisa Powell, Scott Star, Sarah Melissa Witiak, Michael Wolyniak and Beth Zizzamia.
