Danielle Currier, associate professor of sociology, sat on two panels at the 2021 Southern Sociological Society meeting—“Teaching Sociological Practice” and “Welcome to Wherever We Are”—and led another, “Navigating a Career with a Lavender Vita.”
The meeting, “Will America Work? Race, Polarization, and Economic Inequality,” was held virtually in April.
Currier also published a book chapter, “Feminist Pedagogies,” in The Companion to Feminist Studies: Wiley-Blackwell Encyclopedia of Gender and Sexuality Studies.
