Pay Your Enrollment Deposit

Deadlines

  • Fall Semester – May 1
  • Spring Semester – January 1

Students who intend to enroll in the coming semester will need to pay the enrollment deposit by the deadline date in order to guarantee enrollment. After the deadline, deposits are accepted based on space availability. The enrollment deposit is non-refundable after deadline date.

Activate Your Randolph College Portal Account

Once you pay your enrollment deposit, you will receive an e-mail from our IT Department with instructions on how to access our Randolph Portal at inside.randolphcollege.edu. The portal is your one-stop resource for all campus information including required enrollment forms and actions. If you have questions, please contact the IT Help Desk at (434) 947-8103.

Pay Your Tuition and Fees

Randolph College charges by semester with statements sent home the first week of July for the fall semester and the first week of December for the spring semester. Semester payments are due accordingly on August 1 and January 1 prior to the start of each semester. These statements are also available in the student’s self-service account online. If you have questions, please contact the Business Office at (434) 947-8615 or (434) 947-8618.

Review and Submit Financial Aid Documents

Financial Aid Award Letter

Please access your online financial aid award letter and advise whether you wish to accept (or decline) all components of your financial aid award.  The award letter is found at awards.randolphcollege.edu and you’ll need your Randolph Student ID # and birthdate to sign in.  Financial Aid can assist you with your ID # if you don’t know it.  The Financial Aid office will also advise if you need to submit additional documents in connection with receiving financial aid at Randolph College.  You can also see what documents are needed on the Portal.  Log into the Portal and go to the Student Tab and reference the Student Required Actions for what documents are still needed. If you have questions, please contact the Financial Aid Office at (434) 947-8128 of FinancialAid@randolphcollege.edu.

FAFSA

Fall enrolling students – If you wish to be considered for Federal need-based aid or additional Randolph College grant aid, you should file the FAFSA by July 1.

Spring enrolling students – If you wish to be considered for Federal need-based aid or additional Randolph College grant aid, you should file the FAFSA as soon as possible for the 2020-2021 academic year if you’re entering in January.

The FAFSA application is available at www.fafsa.gov.

Submit Business Account Agreement and Disclosure

Use the link below to indicate contact information and agreement for individuals responsible for the tuition bill. The deadline to submit the agreement is August 1 for fall enrolling students and January 1 for spring enrolling students. Register for Classes

Sign-Up for Housing

Transfer students enrolling in the fall semester should submit the Housing Preference Form by June 9. This form will allow for the Office of Residence Life to better pair you with a roommate that has similar values and interests.

  • If you apply for and are approved for the SUPER or STAR program, please keep in mind that you are required to live on a residence hall floor with your respective program peers.
  • If you have a roommate in mind that you would like to live with, please include their name in the space provided on the form. That person also needs to list your name on their form.
  • Students who require special housing accommodations need to submit the Special Housing Accommodations request form.

Purchase Textbooks

Randolph College offers online textbook shopping through MBS Direct. Students may buy books prior to the new semester and sell used books at the end of the semester. If you have questions, please contact the Business Office at (434) 947-8615 or (434) 947-8618.

Submit Your Medical Record

Use the link below to fill out the Medical Record. The Medical Record must be completed prior to moving into the residence halls or for non-residential students, attending classes. The deadline for fall enrolling students is August 1 and for spring enrolling students, January 1. If you have questions, please contact Ruby Bryant, RN, director of student health services, Randolph College Health Center, 434-947-8130,  rbryant@randolphcollege.edu.

* To protect your privacy and ensure the confidentiality of your medical information, please return your Medical Record and supporting documents in a sealed envelope designated Attn: Health Center or mail them directly to: Randolph College Health Center, 2500 Rivermont Avenue, Lynchburg, VA 24503.

Verify Health Insurance Coverage Requirement

The College is in the process of updating its Health Insurance Coverage Requirement for students. Students will receive detailed information with next steps by June 1, 2024.

*Please note that Randolph College requires all full-time undergraduate students (with a minimum of 12 credit hours) and traditional graduate students (with a minimum of 9 credit hours) to have adequate health insurance. Health insurance requirement information for low-residency graduate students will be available on or after June 1, 2024. Please be in contact with Ruby Bryant, Director of Health Services, if you have general questions regarding insurance eligibility and/or requirements at rbryant@randolphcollege.edu before June 1, 2024.

Submit Final Transcript(s)

Please request final high school and/or college transcripts to be sent to the Randolph College Registrar’s Office by July 1 for fall enrolling students and January 1 for spring enrolling students.  Send to Registrar’s Office, Randolph College, 2500 Rivermont Avenue, Lynchburg, Virginia, 24503. Consent to Disclose Educational Information (FERPA)

Use the link below to give consent for disclosure of information from your educational record, including grades, to others. Submit by July 1 for fall enrolling students and January 1 for spring enrolling students. If you have questions, please contact the Registrar’s Office at (434) 947-8143.

Verify Emergency Contact Information

On the Students tab on the portal is a section titled Personal Information.  Go to the portal and to this tab to verify and update your address and phone numbers.  Use the Family Contact link to provide us with the name and contact information for your emergency contact.  Update this information as needed and fill in student emergency contact information. If you have questions, please contact the Registrar’s Office at (434) 947-8143.

Submit Athletic Forms (varsity athletes only)

If you are a student athlete planning to participate in the Randolph College Athletic Program, you must complete all components of the medical clearance process through the Athletic Training department by July 15. You should have received an email in your Randolph email informing you that the following must be completed prior to any participation:

  1. Medical Record (submit via mail)
  2. Medical Data Entry (submit online)
    To log on to the system you will need to use your Randolph College email address; The School ID and Group is Randolph College.
  3. ADHD/ADD Medical Exemption Documentation (only required for those taking medication for ADHD/ADD).

Confirm your Move-In Date and Make Orientation Travel Plans

Please begin making travel and accommodation arrangements accordingly for your prescribed move-in date. Early move-in requests will not be approved.

  • SUPER Participants: August 4, 2024
  • STAR Participants: August 4, 2024
  • Fall Athletes (Cross-Country, Soccer, & Volleyball): August TBD, 2024
  • New International Students: August TBD, 2024
  • New First-Year Students: August 19, 2024
  • Transfer Students with First-Year Credits: August TBD, 2024
  • Transfer Students (sophomore, junior, & senior credits): August TBD, 2024

Confirm Your Move-In Clearance

Deadline: 1 Week (minimum) prior to your Move-In Date

Several days prior to your expected Move-In date, log in to the Portal and check your Student Required Actions checklist to verify that you have received Move-In Clearance.

If the “Tuition Paid/Cleared for Move-In” line is green, then you have met the tuition payment requirements and are good to go. If not, then you have something that needs to be paid or financial aid that needs to be completed ASAP.

*Please understand that ANY RESIDENTIAL student cannot move into campus housing until…

1) the outstanding balance is paid in full for the upcoming semester
OR
2) they have registered for and started making payments on the Monthly Payment Plan (CashNet monthly payment plan).

Room keys will be withheld from students who have not paid their tuition payment by the deadline.
