Dates, Deadlines and Costs

Credit Hour Minimums:

42 clock hours are required as a minimum per credit hour. No single internship may exceed 3 credit hours. Students may choose to obtain fewer credits than their clock hours qualify them to receive.

Cost of Internship Credit:

During the summer and winter terms, students must pay $150 per academic credit received for their internship.

Internship Contract Deadlines:

It is the student’s responsibility to complete the Contract, which includes obtaining all signatures and writing or soliciting all supporting paperwork. Completed Contracts must be submitted to the Career Development Center in West Hall by the dates below. There is an appeal process for late adds.

Summer Internship: May 1st

Fall Internship: End of first week of class (Appeals will not be accepted after the end of the Drop Period)

Spring Internship: End of first week of class (Appeals will not be accepted after the end of the Drop Period)
