Jane W. Campbell ’12

Campbell is a preservation consultant with Rogers Lewis Group, where she helps developers access historic preservation tax credits, drafts National Register of Historic Places nominations, and guides adaptive use projects across South Carolina.

With a bachelor’s degree in history from Randolph and a master’s in public history from the University of South Carolina, Campbell has authored more than two dozen successful National Register nominations and enabled clients to secure over $40 million in tax credits.

Her work has received multiple preservation awards, including Historic Columbia’s Preservation Leadership Award and the National Council on Public History’s Excellence in Consulting Award. Her projects have also been recognized, including three that were given the South Carolina Historic Preservation Award by the state’s governor.

“Randolph certainly laid the foundation for my research and writing skills. The Summer Research Program, in particular, prepared me for the type of place-based research I do now.”

An active leader in Columbia’s preservation community, she also serves on the Palladium Board of Historic Columbia and lends her expertise to organizations across the region.
