Chua performs as featured soloist with Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra

Emily Yap Chua, Randolph’s Catherine Ehrman Thoresen ’23 and William E. Thoresen Professor of Music, performed George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” as a soloist with the Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra in September to mark the 100th anniversary of the piece. 

Chua, who had previously performed the same work with the orchestra 21 years prior to the exact day, was also featured in a story in The News & Advance.
