The journal, Psychology of Music, recently published an article co-authored by psychology professor Sara Beck and Randolph’s Residence Life Coordinator Dan Allee ’23.
The article, “Conversations from Arendelle: Children’s understanding of musical affect in a narrative, multimedia context,” examines children’s perceptions and understanding of musical emotion in the hit Disney movie, Frozen.
Allee, who majored in psychology, was one of several students who contributed to the research, which received partial funding from Randolph’s Summer Research Program.
