Colin Pennington, professor of sport and exercise studies, attended Hawaii University’s International Conference on Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Education in January, where he presented three papers: “An Examination of Flexible Seating in the Higher Education Classroom from a Physical and Kinesthetic Perspective,” “A Reimagination and Revision of University Physical Activity Course Offerings,” and “An Analysis of Physical Education Requirement in Texas: The Trend from Kindergarten Through Higher Education.”
He also published a book, Make it Count: A Practitioner’s Guide to Enriching Health and Fitness Opportunities for Individuals with Disabilities, in January.
