Jennifer Gauthier
Jennifer Gauthier, professor of media and culture, presented new research examining transnational girlhood as depicted in films by women filmmakers from the Global South during the National Women’s Studies Association annual conference.
She also moderated a workshop on transformative pedagogy.
Established in 1977, the National Women’s Studies Association leads the field of women’s, gender, and sexuality studies, and the conference is the only annual meeting in the continental United States and its colonies that is exclusively dedicated to showcasing the latest feminist scholarship.
