A recent upgrade to Randolph College’s dance flooring was completed with help from a $6,000 grant from the Greater Lynchburg Community Foundation.
A marley floor was purchased and installed in time for the College’s Spring Dance Concert in Thoresen Theatre.
Marley is a vinyl dance flooring created specifically for dancing. Its material is less slippery than wooden floors, which allows students to rehearse more confidently and securely on the surface, with less risk of injury.
