Randolph honored 10 winter graduates at the annual Mid-Year Graduation Luncheon Friday in the Alice Ashley Jack Room of Smith Memorial Building.
At the ceremony, President Bradley W. Bateman addressed the graduates, their families, and other invited guests. In addition to congratulating the graduates on their achievements, he encouraged them to use the talents and lessons they developed behind the Red Brick Wall to make a difference in their communities and the world.
“You have gained a knowledge and perspective of the world, and a sense of greater good,” Bateman said. “Maybe even more importantly, you have formed friendships that will last your lifetime. Like the thousands of alumnae and alumni who have come before you, you have the opportunity to make a difference.
“We are proud of the women and men you are today and look forward to learning about the ways in which you will make the world a better place,” he added.
Mid-year graduates were: Rachel Allyson Beaver (Economics), Nailah K. Bentsi-Enchill (Political Science), Allison Kay Brooks (Environmental Science), Kaitlin Mari Evans (Sociology), Patricia Lou Garrett (Sport and Exercise Studies), Margaret Grace Goldberg (History), Fabrina Marie Goodell (Sociology), Kelly Ann Goodwin (History), Brooks Vincent Sharrett (Political Science), Young-Jun Suh (Environmental Science).
