An article by Stephen Krueger, access and outreach services librarian at Randolph, was published in The Southeastern Librarian (Volume 65 Number 2, Summer 2017). It was listed under the title, “Health Sciences Assessment at UNC Charlotte: A Collection Development Fellowship.”
The article is Krueger’s first peer-reviewed journal publication; however, he presented a poster on the same project at the Charleston Library Conference in November 2016. Another of his writings will be published in the near future in Public Services Quarterly about how academic libraries can better serve transgender patrons.
Krueger is a new member of the Randolph faculty, having started work at the Lipscomb Library on July 1. He earned a MSLS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May, and holds a B.A. in English from Warren Wilson College. He previously worked in the UNC libraries as a graduate student. As access and outreach services librarian at Randolph, his goal will be to better connect the Lipscomb Library to the campus community.
