Randolph English professor Gary Dop’s poetry has recently been published in three national literary publications.
Dop’s latest poem, “The System Works,” was published in the North American Review, the oldest literary magazine in the United States. He also recently published two new poems—“The Double” and “Marriage at 17 Years”—in the latest issue of New Ohio Review, a publication of Ohio University. Another of Dop’s poems, “The Young Champion Larry Holmes vs The Un-Retired Ali,” appeared in the critically acclaimed Florida Review.
Dop continues to present lectures, readings, and workshops throughout the country. This semester he has presented at, or will present soon, at Marshall University, Washington & Lee University, Auburn University at Montgomery, the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Fort Hays State University, and University of Nebraska at Kearney, along with events at libraries, bookstores, and community centers.
