Randolph’s Creative Writing Club and Writing Lab are partnering to host a workshop October 23 designed to teach and enhance novel writing and storytelling skills.
In celebration of National Novel Writing Month, the Creative Writing Café will consist of five workshop sessions focused on the various aspects of writing a novel. The workshops are: Plot, World Building, Character, Dialogue, and Show, Don’t tell.
“Our goal is to help students prepare to write a novel in November,” said Sally Taylor St. Clair, administrative assistant for Randolph’s Academic Services Center. “It’s the first time the Writing Lab and the Creative Writing Club have worked together on anything, so we’re really hopeful it will be successful.”
