Randolph College’s Macon Activities Council (MAC) recently received the 2014 Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities (APCA) Southeast Region Student Organization of the Year award. The award was presented at the national APCA conference in Jacksonville, Florida last week.
“This award speaks volumes about all of the hard work and dedication that the MAC board has put in to further developing the organization this past year,” said Katya Schwab ’17, MAC president. “From launching new annual events such as Fall Fest to fine-tuning our approach to publicity and running events, every MAC member has put in their best work. Thank you to MAC’s dream-team student and executive boards for their dedication and continual to work towards developing MAC in the future, and thank you to our advisor Nick Spicer, for his encouragement, and constant support of MAC’s goals and future vision.”
Schwab, Sienna Brown ’17, and Brandon Stroble ’16 attended the conference with Nick Spicer, advisor and coordinator of student activities.
