About

Prepare to LEAD BIG in your professional and personal life!
2020 Virtual Leadership Council is open to all alums and current students.

Engage with alums and current students in an interactive workshop on “Leading During COVID.” We’ll learn from each other and develop new and supportive relationships as we explore the following questions:

  • How can you transfer and adapt your current leadership skills to be a successful leader during COVID?
  • What new opportunities do the challenges of physical distancing create for leading?
  • How can you develop new leadership skills and dispositions that will be valuable to you post-COVID as well?
  • How can you be an empathetic and motivating leader of your group?
  • How can you practice and model self-care as a leader?

As we continue to formulate effective responses and look forward to recovery, learn and share how you can call on your individual strengths and successes, acknowledge the loss you may be feeling, and move through to a positive transition to NOW. Finish the workshop ready to develop a personal action plan to leverage and enhance your leadership abilities in the spirit of Vita Abundantior!

Join in on the traditional parts of Leadership Council, including the Association’s Annual Business Meeting and President Bateman’s College Update. Participate in workshops focused on your Association volunteer position.

The day will conclude with a “happy hour” for all participants to reflect and share takeaways. Lead Big participants will have an opportunity to win R-MWC and Randolph College items from the Campus Store!  Winners will be determined during the “happy hour!” Additionally, all Lead Big participants will receive a Campus Store coupon in their registration confirmation!

Notice: The Randolph-Macon Woman’s College Alumnae & Randolph College Alumni Association membership is invited to attend the Association’s Annual Business Meeting during the 2020 Leadership Council & Summit Saturday, September 19, 2020.
