Randolph hosting 25th Mid-Atlantic Conference of Undergraduate Scholarship

Randolph College is hosting the 25th Annual Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference of Undergraduate Scholarship (MARCUS) on Saturday, Nov. 4.

College students throughout Virginia and surrounding states have attended the conference since its inception in 1999, sharing findings from research or creative projects in all disciplines.

The conference begins with the keynote address, “How Does Psychological Science Apply to Education,” given by Daniel Willingham, professor of psychology at the University of Virginia.

Poster presentations will be on display in Hampson Commons during two sessions, from 10 to 11 a.m. and 3 to 4 p.m. Oral presentations will be in Nichols Theatre from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and 1:45 to 2:45 p.m.
