Kaija Mortensen, associate professor of philosophy, published “Knowing How as a Philosophical Hybrid,” with co-authors Chad Gonnerman and Jacob Robbins, in the journal Synthese this summer.
In it, they wrote about the concept of knowing how, presenting four studies to support their view that it is a philosophical hybrid comprising both intellectualist and anti-intellectualist features.
