Randolph records highest giving participation in over a decade for FY 2017-18

Randolph College ended the 2017-18 fiscal and fundraising year on June 30 with the highest alumnae and alumni participation rate since 2006.

Alumnae and alumni giving participation was at 25.2 percent—up 2 percent from the previous year.

“We are extremely proud and privileged to have such wonderful alumnae and alumni who are profoundly dedicated to supporting the College and ensuring its continued strength and success,” said Farah Marks, vice president for institutional advancement. “Our alums are at the very heart of our Randolph community. We could not accomplish and achieve all that we do without their strong support.”

More than 2,600 alumnae and alumni, parents, friends, and organizations contributed nearly $7 million this year. Of this, over $2 million was designated for the Annual Fund, which provides vital dollars for scholarships, internships, experiential learning, faculty professional development, and campus beautification, just to name a few areas of impact. Increased alumnae and alumni participation also helps Randolph compete for grant funding from corporations and foundations.
