Randolph music professor Emily Yap Chua is the featured pianist in a recital this Sunday, Oct. 1 at Otterbein University in Ohio. The event will take place at 2 p.m. in Riley Auditorium at the Battelle Fine Arts Center.
Chua will perform works by Handel, Brahms, Lutoslawski, and Liebermann. Prior to the concert, she will also lead a master class Saturday evening. Described as “remarkably passionate” and “vividly enchanting” by The Daily Tribune and “spirited and movingly expressive” by The Philippine STAR, Chua also performed in a solo piano recital at Randolph earlier this month.
