WEIGHT ROOM MONITOR

Job Title:  Weight Room Monitor

Department:  Athletics

Location: Upper Level of Michels Athletic Center (MAC) 

Supervisor: Matt Yates, myates@randolphcollege.edu

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for following and implementing weight room rules, overall cleanliness of the weight room, and general monitoring of the weight room during shift hours.

Qualifications:

  • Able to lift 50 pounds if needed, clean various equipment in the weight room, and have good interpersonal communication skills.

Working Environment:

  • Weight Room in the upper level of the MAC Center, near weights, racks and platforms, weight machines and treadmills/bikes/elliptical.

Pay: $12.41/Hour

Hours: 4-8 hours/week

Length of Employment: August 2025 to May 2026

You will also be required to complete FERPA training (online) and work and confidentiality agreements. You will not be able to begin work or get paid before you complete these items. See the Human Resources Office, located in Main Hall for more information on the required documentation. The HR office is located in Main Hall and is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 to 5:00 pm.
