Maier Museum of Art - 7 p.m.
Screening of "Wild Style" & 1980s Dance Party! - Charlie Ahearn?s seminal WILD STYLE is a loosely-scripted narrative film that also functions as an invaluable glimpse into the graffiti and hip hop cultures, showcasing the art and music of legends such as Fab 5 Freddy and graffiti artist Lee Quinones. (82 min). Following the film screening, stick around for an 80s themed dance party in the Museum! Refreshments provided. This event is part of a series of films screenings held on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. between Oct. 2-Nov. 10 at the Maier Museum of Art in conjunction with the 107th Annual Exhibition of Contemporary Art, ?Zeitgeist: The Art Scene of Teenage Basquiat.?
