Reading by Tess Taylor, Anne Spencer Poet in Residence (PP): Tess Taylor is the author of a chapbook, The Misremembered World, selected by Eavan Boland for the Poetry Society of America, and two collections of poetry, The Forage House, a finalist for the Believer Poetry Award, and Work & Days, named one of the 10 best books of poetry of 2016 by the New York Times. Her work has appeared in The Atlantic, Boston Review, Harvard Review, The Times Literary Supplement, and elsewhere. Taylor currently chairs the poetry committee of the National Book Critics Circle and is the on-air poetry reviewer for NPR’s All Things Considered. She was most recently a Distinguished Fulbright US Scholar at the Seamus Heaney Centre at Queen’s University in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
