Mark your calendar to attend the Alumnae and Alumni Leadership Council to be held Thursday, Sept. 14–Sunday, Sept. 17. Leadership Council is an opportunity for all Association volunteer leaders to come together, learn more about their positions and to share ideas with the Association Board, College staff, and fellow volunteers. You will have an opportunity to hear from President Bradley W. Bateman, College administrative officials, and current students about what is happening today on Randolph College’s campus and what plans are ahead for the future. On Saturday night, the Alumnae Achievement Awards Dinner and Presentation will be held.





Fees and Accommodations

There is no registration fee to attend Leadership Council and the Association will cover the cost of your meals while on campus.

$105 daily room rate plus taxes and fees. Reservations must be made prior to Friday, September 1, 2017 in order to receive the special Randolph College rate. You may consider sharing a room to cut down on costs.


College shuttles between the Holiday Inn Downtown and the College will be provided beginning Friday afternoon. Campus parking is very limited and we encourage you to use the shuttles.


The key is comfort when you on campus all day for meetings and workshops. Saturday’s dinner is a time for “smart casual.”

If you are a volunteer for the Association or the College, or are willing to volunteer, please plan to attend Leadership Council. The weekend is our chance to show our appreciation for all your contributions–your time, connections, networking, and financial support. You will meet current students and other engaged and excited alumnae and alumni in workshops, and will see firsthand the updates to Main Hall, Wright Hall, and Michels Plaza. The Office of Alumnae and Alumni will help identify carpooling and room sharing opportunities to decrease your costs. Meals are provided.

The Annual Business Meeting of the Association is held on Saturday and is open to all alumnae and alumni.

The Alumnae Achievement Awards

A highlight of the training weekend is the conferring of the Alumnae Achievement Award. This award recognizes an alumna who personifies the value of a liberal arts education and who has brought honor to herself and the College through her outstanding accomplishments.
