Randolph College’s Office of College Relations took home 10 awards this spring from two international marketing and advertising competitions.
The College earned seven awards, including a Gold Award, from the Educational Advertising Awards and three Gold Awards from the Collegiate Advertising Awards. National panels of industry experts judged the thousands of entries to both competitions.
Randolph earned awards for its magazine and numerous admissions publications and projects, including the viewbook, a custom playing cards project, and its TAKE2 publications.
“These prestigious awards are a testament to the creativity and dedication of our college relations team,” said Farah Marks, vice president for institutional advancement. “We are proud to see our work recognized on an international stage, as it reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality, engaging materials that effectively communicate the values and opportunities at Randolph. College. These accolades affirm the impact our publications have in inspiring prospective students and strengthening our College’s brand.”
Randolph College received seven awards from the 40th Annual Educational Advertising Awards. The 2024 award competition is the largest in the country.
More than 2,000 entries were received from colleges, universities, and secondary schools from all 50 states and numerous foreign countries. Judges consisted of a national panel of higher education marketers, advertising creative directors, and marketing and advertising professionals.

Randolph College earned three Gold Awards from the 2024 Collegiate Advertising Awards program. The competition is an elite program recognizing higher education organizations for excellence in communications, marketing, advertising, and promotions of their schools across the nation. Competing schools were from across the United States and Canada and represented all school sizes, from small community colleges to large schools and universities.
Submissions were reviewed by a national panel of industry experts and judged based on creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality, and overall appeal. Awards were issued for entries that received the top marks from the judges.
Gold awards were given to schools with scores in the top 5 percent in the nation.
