Ryan Davis ’26 is ready to embrace everything about his senior year at Randolph.
“I want to take extra time to soak in all the great memories made with faculty and friends from all over campus while centering my focus on completing the best quality academic work and challenging myself,” he said. “The support around campus and limitless opportunities have really encouraged me.”
This summer, the sport and exercise studies major shadowed physical therapists at Ortho Cincy in Edgewood, Kentucky. It was a chance to observe treatment plans and techniques firsthand.
“Better understanding the field and job was one of my main goals,” he said. “It’s equipped me with new tools while allowing me to polish ones I’d already attained. No matter where I end up in my career, I’ve taken a huge leap in the right direction and have improved my interpersonal skills, professionalism, and confidence.”
He grew up playing sports, which sparked his interest in the field.
“Along the way, unfortunate injuries have created some bumps, and I wanted to be able to better understand the human body, its mechanics, and how to properly and effectively get the best performance out of it throughout whichever stage of life you’re in.”
