Art professor Chris Cohen has been granted tenure by the Randolph College Board of Trustees.
Cohen joined the faculty in 2019 after about a decade as an adjunct in the College’s art department. He earned his undergraduate degree in studio art, with a painting/printmaking emphasis, from Yale University in 1993.
He also holds an MFA in studio art from James Madison University, where he received the 2019-2020 Graduate School Outstanding Thesis Award in Visual and Performing Arts.
Cohen has shown his work up and down the East Coast, including at the SPRING/BREAK Art Show in New York in 2019 and the Taubman Museum of Art’s Juried Triennial in 2021.
