Randolph raises more than $375K on Give Day

Randolph College’s 10th annual day of giving brought in more than 550 Annual Fund gifts totaling over $375,000 and counting—including more than $70,000 matched by donors.

“I am incredibly proud of our community of donors who came together in support of the College on Give Day,” said Farah Marks, vice president for institutional advancement. “Their generosity and commitment have made a profound impact, and it has been a privilege to witness such unwavering support, especially at a time of unprecedented growth. As I prepare to retire this summer, I cherish my final Give Day celebration and the remarkable spirit of giving that defines our community.”

Give Day was moved to the spring this year, running from noon to noon March 25 and 26, to coincide with Founder’s Day celebrations.

“We wanted to honor the College’s long history of philanthropy since its founding,” said Sarah Wardlow ’20, director of the Annual Fund.

This year, gifts came from donors in 41 states and 11 countries. The Class of 1978 had the highest participation, and the Class of 1955, celebrating its 70th Reunion this year, had the highest giving total.

The College also introduced a class competition for current students and parents; it continues through March 31, with the Class of 2026 currently in the lead.

In fact, all gifts made through March 31 will count toward the Give Day totals. There are also several matches still running through the end of the month or until funds are met.
