Daniel Bickey ’23 is continuing his academic and athletic career at Randolph next year as a student in the College’s Master of Arts in Coaching and Sport Leadership program and member of the men’s basketball team.
“I hope to take what I learn in the program and apply it to whatever job or industry I wind up in,” he said. “Learning to be a leader is a valuable skill in or out of the sports world.”
Bickey, a business major, has already made strides toward a future career. He recently became a realtor and is working locally with Berkshire Hathaway Dawson Ford Garbee.
“Randolph has helped me grow as a person,” he said. “I came here not quite sure what I wanted to do, and I am leaving a little more comfortable knowing that whatever I wind up doing, I have the tools to live a life more abundant. This is thanks to the wonderful academic and athletic rigor of Randolph College’s liberal arts education. All of the people that I have met here have allowed me to grow and challenge myself to be someone better than when I arrived. I wouldn’t trade my time and experience here for the world.”
