‘The Show’ recap: Faculty, staff perform for students

“The Show,” 2023 edition, was an epic night for Randolph students, faculty, and staff.

This year’s theme was Stranger Thing, inspired by the Netflix TV series, and included singing, dancing, two short films, and other feats of talent (or lack thereof) performed by faculty and staff.

Highlights include a song from the Broadway musical Six, a Thriller group dance, synchronized swimming, an ode to Wednesday Addams, a Prince-inspired musical number, clogging, dancing dinosaurs, and more.

The famed teapots also made an appearance, and Wanda WildCat showed up for the grand finale.

The event dates back to 1915, when faculty and staff staged a performance to raise money to build what is now Smith Hall. After other occasional performances, it became a once-every-four-years midwinter tradition beginning in 1948.
