College introduces new Inclusive Champions Award

Winners of the inaugural Randolph Inclusive Champions Award will be announced during the College’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration on Jan. 23.

The awards will honor students, staff, and faculty who demonstrate a commitment to community, promoting a welcoming campus, fostering diverse perspectives and cultural awareness, and strengthening an inclusive campus climate.

Keesha Burke Henderson, Randolph’s chief diversity officer, said the awards are an opportunity to celebrate the Randolph community.

“Campus climate is determined by the work each of us puts in to be culturally aware and show a commitment to a culture of care,” she said. “We want to shine a light on those who do this particularly well.”
