Sara Beck
An article by Randolph psychology professor Sara Beck was recently published in Child Art Magazine.
In the article, How Do Scientists Study Music?, Beck and co-author Miriam Lense wrote about the intersection of music, psychology, neuroscience, education, and health—a broad field of study often referred to as Music Cognition.
Lens is a professor and director of Vanderbilt University’s Music Cognition Lab. She and Beck have collaborated and done research together since co-creating Serenade, a parent-child music program, together.
