Attention writers: Randolph College wants to see your best work.
The College has announced a Flash Fiction Contest that’s open to high school and community college students and recent high school graduates. The contest is a collaboration between Randolph’s math and English departments, specifically professors Marc Ordower and Gary Dop.
“That’s how the liberal arts work,” said Dop. “You always are working together, weaving things together.”
Submissions should be between 300 and 1,000 words, a story about any topic that is the writer’s original work. Multiple submissions may be entered.
The deadline is April 27, with winners announced May 4. For more information, visit http://faculty.randolphcollege.edu/mordower/flashfiction.asp.
