On Wednesday, students in Randolph’s Equine Studies 101 course participated in a panel discussion about horse adoption, rehabilitation, and euthanasia. Specifically, they discussed The Right Horse Initiative and its goals for increasing horse adoption rates in the United States.

Facilitated by Jo Miller, adjunct equine studies professor, students debated the many issues with current horse adoption laws and regulations, using research they conducted throughout the semester.
