Reilly Wren made her presentation, “Omeprazole Does Not Affect Cribbing Behavior in Horses,” at the ESS conference
An article about Reilly Wren ’19 and her equine research was recently published in The Horse, a monthly publication that features equine health care and medical studies.
The article, entitled “Does Omeprazole Reduce Cribbing in Horses?” detailed her research that tested whether gastric issues in horses like colic, ulcers, or cribbing can cause one another. The study was part of her honors research project at Randolph, which she presented at the 26th Equine Science Society Symposium in Asheville, N.C. earlier this summer. She is currently a graduate student at the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine.
