Lynchburg Living has named Samie Maggard McRorie ’14, ’15 M.A.T. one of its Top Teachers for 2018-19.
McRorie is a history teacher at Liberty High School in Bedford, Va. In the special issue of Lynchburg Living, McRorie credited her own teachers for inspiring her career.
“My experiences as a student helped shape the person I have become,” McRorie said. “My teachers were an integral part of my growth from elementary school through graduate school. I wanted others to have the same positive experience that I did; I wanted and still want to help young people realize their own potential and utilize their education in order to better themselves and the world around them.”
