“Have You Heard the One About” was nominated by Sugar House Review for a Pushcart Prize. The nomination recognizes Dop’s poem as one of the six best poems published by Sugar House in 2014.

The poems were published in the print edition of the magazine, but “Have You Heard the One About” is also available online.

Dop’s essays have aired on All Things Considered, and his poems have appeared recently in Prairie Schooner, Agni, Rattle, New Letters, among others. His first collection of poems, Father, Child, Water, is forthcoming from Red Hen Press.
