It’s the first day of autumn, which can only mean one thing: Pumpkin Parade is near.
This morning, a crop of pumpkins was delivered to front campus, where sophomores will pick up their pumpkins to carve for a senior to carry in the annual parade this weekend.
This year, the College is holding a contest in search for the best photos that document Pumpkin Parade. Randolph students can share photos of the entire process—including pumpkin pickup, designing, carving, presentation to the seniors, and the parade itself—on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter using the hashtags #pumpkinparade2014 and #randolphcollege. Photos will be judged for aesthetics and uniqueness.
Winning photos also will be featured on the Randolph College blog and Facebook page, and the winning photographers will win a photo contest button to add to their collection.
