Job Title: Digital Engagement Student Assistant
Department: Randolph Fund– Digital Engagement

Number of positions available: 2, approx. 6 hours/week
Essential Functions:
Engage and connect with alumni via text, email, phone, and/or short video
recordings. Types of contacts include encouraging updates to existing alumni contact
information, thanking alumni who have made recent financial gifts to support Randolph, inviting
alumni to participate in virtual events, and encouraging alumni to support Randolph College with
small participation gifts to Annual Fund areas.
Qualifications:
Active and engaged students with a strong affinity for Randolph College, ability
to carry on a conversation on the phone and/or by text, good oral and written communication
skills, willingness to ask for donations and pledges over the telephone/text message/video, and a
willingness to learn.
Working Environment: Work is done in the Office of Institutional Advancement (Doyle
House), across the street from campus on the corner of Rivermont and Norfolk Avenue.
Pay: $12.41 per hour.
Times and Hours: The position is available to start at your earliest convenience and will
continue through the end of the 2025-2026 school year. Workdays will be Monday through
Thursday, with hours between 9 AM and 5 PM. We offer flexibility within this timeframe to suit
your schedule. There may be some evening hours for texting.

If Hired: You must complete federal and state withholding documents, Form I-9 (which requires you to show proof of eligibility to work in the US), and bank direct deposit information, as well as all necessary items in our payroll system, Paycom. You will also be required to complete FERPA training (online) and work and confidentiality agreements. You will not be able to begin work or get paid before you complete these items. See the Human Resources Office, located in Main Hall for more information on the required documentation. The HR office is located in Main Hall and is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 to 5:00 pm.
