Student Assistant- Building and Grounds

Job Title:  Student Assistant- Building and Grounds 

Department:  Building and Grounds

Location: Building and Grounds Office

Supervisor: Joan Smith, jsmith@randolphcollege.edu 

Essential Functions:

  • Assist with incoming calls.
  • work with incoming emails for Building and Grounds
  • print all work order that are submitted
  • create a work order in the School Dude system, with assigned tradesman.
  • close out work orders that have been created through School Dude on a daily basis.

Qualifications:

  • Have knowledge of using walkie talkies communications through the field technicians.
  • Computer proficiency preferred.

Pay: $12.41/Hour

Hours: 2 hours per week

Length of Employment: August 2025 to May 2026

You will also be required to complete FERPA training (online) and work and confidentiality agreements. You will not be able to begin work or get paid before you complete these items. See the Human Resources Office, located in Main Hall for more information on the required documentation. The HR office is located in Main Hall and is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 to 5:00 pm.
