E-SPORTS STUDENT ASSISTANT

Job Title:  Student Assistant

Department:  Dean of Students

Location: e-Sports Lounge, Bell 110

Supervisor: Lucas Scott, lscott01@randolphcollege.edu

Essential Functions:

  • Open and close e-Sports Lounge (Bell 110) as well as overseeing student usage;
  • Maintain a weekly schedule for open play hours, assisting with special events;
  • Provide office coverage during meetings, and other duties as assigned;
  • Coordinate scheduling and work with Head eSports Coach to optimize room usage.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent etiquette and time management skills, friendly and attentive, detail-oriented, conscientious and reliable, maintains high degree of confidentiality, organized and neat, ability to multi-task, work independently, and follow directions.
  • Computer proficiency preferred.

Pay: $12.41/Hour

Hours: Up to 7 hours/week but can vary, space can be open Monday-Sunday. Scheduling will be done in advance and be adaptive to individual needs but expect to be in the space during afternoons/evenings.

Length of Employment: August 2025 to May 2026

You will also be required to complete FERPA training (online) and work and confidentiality agreements. You will not be able to begin work or get paid before you complete these items. See the Human Resources Office, located in Main Hall for more information on the required documentation. The HR office is located in Main Hall and is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 to 5:00 pm.
