Randolph sets second-highest fundraising mark in college history for 2018-19

With more than $12 million raised, Randolph College had its second-largest fundraising year in the College’s history this year—thanks to the generous support of alumnae and alumni, faculty and staff, parents, and others. The largest fundraising year was 2015-16.

Giving to the Annual Fund and other unrestricted funds, including Reunion giving, totaled over $2.2 million in support of scholarships, student-faculty research, and campus sustainability initiatives, among other important programs at the College. In addition, nearly 350 alumnae and alumni participated in the June Rally for Randolph campaign and successfully completed a $30,000 gift match.

One of the largest giving initiatives of the year was for the renovation of the Randolph Athletic and Dance Center (RAD). 

“Our donors truly are a vital part of the Randolph College community,” said Farah Marks, vice president for institutional advancement. “Our students receive a life-changing liberal arts education and are able to discover what it means to live and work honorably, all thanks to the generosity of those who so loyally support the College.”
