Randolph College statement regarding the United Methodist Church General Conference decision

Randolph College is nondiscriminatory in our admissions and hiring, as well as in the way we live together on campus. This inclusion and respect is an important part of the fabric of our community. We are saddened to learn that the United Methodist Church has taken a stand against the right of the LGBTQ+ community to be ordained or married in the church. However, this decision to discriminate against and demean others does not have any impact on our commitment to the full human rights of every member of our community.
