Climate Survey
The student climate survey was sent to students in April. An outside firm is handling the survey, and the results will be shared later in the summer.
External Review
Troutman Pepper, a nationally recognized law firm, has been conducting a retrospective review of the College’s handling of Title IX cases to determine whether student reports of sexual misconduct have been handled consistent with College policy and applicable law.
In addition, the company is evaluating whether historically there have been any barriers to students reporting allegations of sexual misconduct to the Title IX office. Interviews with Troutman Pepper will wrap up on May 25, and an anonymous survey will close at the end of May.
The College will use the results of this retrospective review, the report of the Task Force on Campus Culture, and the information learned from the Campus Climate Survey to identify potential opportunities for improvement so that the College is providing a safe and supportive learning environment for our students.
