DJ Petty '20 to compete in NCAA DIII Indoor Track & Field Championships

After a stellar showing at the 2019 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Indoor Championships, DJ Petty ’20 secured his place in the 60-meter hurdles race and the 60-meter dash at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships this weekend.

Petty becomes the first Randolph student-athlete to qualify for the indoor national meet and compete in multiple events.

The NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships will take place on Friday and Saturday, March 8-9, at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center in Boston, Mass., with The University of Massachusetts, Boston, serving as host. Petty will compete in the preliminaries Friday in the 60 meters at 2:15 p.m. and the 60-meter hurdles at 2:45. The finals for both events will be at 1:55 p.m. Saturday for the 60-meter hurdles and 2:20 p.m. for the 60-meter dash.
