Randolph dance students will perform in the Annual Spring Dance Concert, which opens Thursday, April 4, and continues April 5 and 6. Each performance begins at 7:30 p.m. in Smith Hall Theatre. Tickets are free for Randolph students and children under 12, $5 for students and seniors, and $8 for general admission.
The student-run concert is an annual tradition for Randolph College’s dance department, and showcases the choreography and talents of Randolph’s dancers. The 2019 show features the work of New York-based choreographers such as Take Ueyama, Brynt Beitman, Gentry George, and Jill Echo. Also, visiting dance professor Eun-Kyung Chung has staged a classical work from the mid-19th century. In addition, senior dance majors will present their choreography as part of their capstone experience.
Tickets are available for purchase at the door or in advance at www.randolphcollege.edu/tickets.
