This Saturday, 112 undergraduates from across the region will showcase their research and creative projects at Randolph College for the 17th annual Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference for Undergraduate Scholarship (MARCUS).
In its first year hosting the conference, the College anticipates 56 oral presentations and 47 poster presentations. Twenty Randolph students will be presenting Summer Research findings, artistic work, and results from other independent projects.
Since its inception in 1999, MARCUS has attracted students from colleges throughout Virginia and surrounding states. The 112 registrations for this year’s conference is one of the largest totals in its history.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Main Hall lobby, and presentation sessions are scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Student Center. Attendee admission for those who have not already registered is $25 at the door.
